Basketball Micro - 110101

Introduces boys and girls to the game basketball. Team play is "full court" 3 on 3 basketball on our "micro court" with 8' 6" baskets offering players a greater opportunity to handle the ball and develop their skills. This program provides and promotes a safe, recreational basketball program for the youth of Ypsilanti Township and its surrounding communities. Micro Basketball encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and promoting friendly relationships among the players, coaches, referees and parents.

Practices begin the week of January 28. Coaches will contact players with practice schedule. 6 games + practices - FRIDAY GAMES: 5pm - 8pm; SATURDAY GAMES 3pm - 6pm

Basketball Camp - 410108

This camp provides the opportunity for your child to train and learn the fundamentals of basketball with others in their age group. Each session will teach the basics of shooting, ball handling, passing, offensive and defensive footwork, positioning and rebounding. Football-Flag - 410401

This is a safe, fun non-contact sport based on NFL flag football rules. Children are placed on teams within their age group. Players receive a football shirt. Players must wear turf shoes or gym shoes. Mouth guards are required for games and practices.

Coaches will contact players with practice and game schedules. Practices begin the week of September 10. Teams play 6 game and typically meet for practice once during the week.

Tap students learn to create rhythms with their feet. Classes focus on the development of a sharpened sense of rhythm, coordination, and clarity of sounds. These are incorporated in warmups, rhythm sequences, and movements across the floor. Required: black tap shoes.

Level I - No previous experience is required. Level I classes introduce the student to beginning dance steps. Students normally spend two years in Level I classes.
